POLYMER BASE

The PA12 (Nylon 12) base polymer is a high-performance thermoplastic known for its excellent mechanical strength and dimensional stability.

It delivers outstanding resistance to tensile stress, abrasion and impact, making it well-suited for functional components. Thanks to its low moisture absorption, the PA12 ensures consistent and reliable performance even in humid environments or under temperature fluctuations, making it ideal for precise, high-quality components.

SUPER TOUGH UPGRADE

With the ST Upgrade, combined with carbon fibre reinforcement, XECARB® PA12-CF-ST delivers enhanced impact resistance and improved elongation at break, while maintaining the material’s lightweight nature.

Thanks to its increased toughness and high temperature resistance (it presents an HDT of 150° C), XECARB® PA12-CF-ST is particularly suited for demanding functional components in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, consumer goods and industrial components, where high performance under mechanical stress is essential.
