XECARB PA12-CF-ST is a 3D printing filament for FFF/FDM based on Nylon 12 (PA12), reinforced with 15% carbon fiber and modified with Super Tough technology.

The Super Tough technology, combined with 15% carbon fibre reinforcement, increases the material’s toughness and elongation at break, enhancing its ability to absorb impacts and withstand mechanical stresses while reducing the risk of brittle failure.

The addition of carbon fibre provides enhanced stiffness and structural stability while maintaining a density of just 1.06 g/cm³, delivering an excellent balance between mechanical performance and weight.

The PA12 matrix exhibits lower moisture absorption compared to shorter-chain polyamides, helping to maintain dimensional stability and consistent mechanical properties even under humid conditions and changing environmental conditions.

With an HDT of 150 °C, XECARB PA12-CF-ST maintains good dimensional stability under load at elevated temperatures, expanding its suitability for functional components used in demanding technical applications.

Ideal for the production of structural and functional components exposed to impacts, vibrations and repeated mechanical loads, XECARB PA12-CF-ST is particularly suitable for brackets, supports, housings, protective components, sports equipment, jigs & fixtures and components for robotic systems.
The material is well suited to applications in the automotive, aerospace, sports and industrial sectors, where toughness, stiffness, lightweight design and long-term durability are key requirements.
