XECARB PA11-CF-SL is a high-performance FFF/FDM 3D printing filament based on 100% bio-based Nylon 11 (PA11), reinforced with 15% carbon fibre and featuring SuperLight technology for enhanced weight reduction.

The addition of 15% carbon fibre increases the material’s stiffness, providing up to a 15% increase in tensile modulus compared to standard PA-CF, while maintaining an excellent balance between mechanical performance and weight.

SuperLight technology enables a density as low as 0.99 g/cm³, reducing weight by up to 10% compared to standard PA-CF materials.

Compared to shorter-chain polyamides, PA11 exhibits low moisture absorption, helping to maintain dimensional stability and consistent mechanical properties even under humid conditions.

The PA11 matrix offers excellent resistance to oils, hydrocarbons, fuels and a wide range of chemical agents. With an HDT of 170 °C, the material maintains high performance even in applications exposed to demanding operating temperatures.

XECARB PA11-CF-SL is ideal to produce lightweight structural components for drones and UAVs. It is particularly suitable for frames, arms, brackets, housings and functional components where a high stiffness-to-weight ratio is a key requirement.
The material is well suited to applications in the aerospace, defense, mobility and robotics sectors, where low weight, mechanical strength and reliability are essential to optimize overall system performance.
